Machine Maintenance Mechanic

Currently seeking Machine Maintenance Mechanic and Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor for a busy manufacturing company in Sanford. Must have a Strong understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics & PLC to be able to maintain and repair machinery.

Requirements –

• Experience and ability to maintain, troubleshoot, install & repair electrical & mechanical problems on production equipment – hydraulics, pneumatics & PLC (including preventive maintenance)
• Experience in technical areas including manufacturing operations, welding, basic electrical practices, fluid power, & pipefitting)
• Observe mechanical devices & troubleshoot problems, dismantle equipment & remove, replace, or repair parts
• Advanced knowledge of machine operation & ability to troubleshoot problems quickly & effectively
• Repair & maintain machinery & mechanical equipment; cranes, pumps, engines, motors, pneumatic tools, and production equipment
• Use hand & power tools
• Supervisor position will require prior supervisory experience in this industry.

Responsibilities-

• Will maintain a wide variety of manufacturing equipment, Install/replace parts, Diagnosis & correct machine trouble including PLC issues
• Dismantle, assemble, and maintain intricate specialized equipment requiring skilled fitting & alignment
• Operate all machine shop equipment efficiently
• Help schedule and perform preventative maintenance activities, new equipment installation
• Capability of reading machine drawings, relay logic schematic, and all instruments that measure in thousandths of an inch (micrometers, calipers, depth mics, etc.) Follow blueprints, lubrication charts, and engineering specifications.
